You Can’t Fake Fashion

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CDFA) recently launched a new collection of summer totes with the words “You Can’t Fake Fashion” emblazoned on them. The bags were designed to generate awareness for the CFDA's campaign against counterfeits and knock-offs.

The 50 one-of-a-kind totes sold for $150 and these totes sold out within hours of their launch on eBay. However the standard bags priced at $35 are still available for you to recreate your own version of the designer bag and all proceeds will go for benefiting the CFDA Foundation.

The CFDA enlisted 50 of its members to design the collection, including Diane von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Billy Reid, Tory Burch, Jason Wu, Marchesa, Rodarte, The Row and others. Here is a look at the 50 designer bags for a bit of inspiration.
