Shine On Bilson

The quintessential girl next door, Rachel Bilson is back on telly with her new show Hart of Dixie and is also on the cover of Nylon Magazine's November 2011 cover. As always, Rachel is fun, cute and sweet in the editorial featuring designers Calvin Klein, Max Azria, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg among others.

Oversized Sweaters

December is here and this winter its time to take out those oversized 80s style sweaters. The oversized sweaters with all its Flashdance flashback and coziness is also extremely chic (when styled correctly). In order to pull off this look make sure that the sweater isn’t too large; it should not look like its your grand father's sweater that you are wearing! Just pick something that is meant to be oversized or maybe one size bigger than your usual. Pair it with some jeans/leggings and some heeled boots and you are good to go. Take a look at some of the season's latest looks and pick these oversized sweaters over those frumpy hoodies.

Spring 2012 - Diane Von Furstenberg

For Spring 2012, Diane von Furstenberg took inspiration from diverse sources - African farmers to ladylike early 60s fashions. But in true Diane style, she filtered all these elements into propositions for the kind of seductive modern women's wardrobe that she does best. With her quintessential wrap dresses and graphic floral prints to menswear-inspired looks that included crisp, tailored jackets with button-downs and Bermuda shorts, she managed to please her base clients - the modern working girl.

The whites and the wraps were my absolute favorite. The very first white wrap dress, the purple red and white wrap dress, the black white and purple wrap dress, the wrap jumpsuit and the lace tops are the must haves from this collection.

Jump To The 60s Beat

The wool dresses we are seeing this Fall is a wonderful throw back at the 1960s. 60s was all about tailored outfit with a hit of experimentation. Love this Marie Claire editorial that gives us a look back at those days with Prada, Jill Stuart, Alberta Ferretti, Diane Von Furstenberg and more.

Fall 2011 Trends - Short Knits

A cool trend coming this fall is the shorter knits and pullovers. It gives a nice new look for winter... especially for days where you don't have to pile on a plenty.
